Darrell Williams

James Darrell Williams, 88, of Ash Grove, Missouri, passed Saturday, July 11, 2026. He was born on April 25, 1938, in Springfield, Missouri, to Ross and Lillian (Simmons) Williams. 

On November 5, 1961, Darrell and Elizabeth “Libby” Glover were united in marriage and shared over 64 years together. 

Darrell graduated Ash Grove High School in 1956. He continued his education and graduated from Drury University. 

Throughout the years Darrell worked at Lily Tulip, Zenith, and retired as a farmer. He was active in his community and was a volunteer Greene County Deputy, a member of Kelly Church, Gate of the Temple, Abou Ben Adhem Shrine, and had served on the Ash Grove Senior Housing Board.   

Darrell is survived by his wife, Libby Williams; brother, Joe Williams and wife, Sammy; niece Kristen Williams; nephew, Mike Williams; other family and friends. 

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Lillian Williams. 

Visitation was 10  a.m. until service time, Friday, July 17, 2026, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services began at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
