Angela Ward
July 14, 2026
Angela Yates Ward, age 52, Everton, Missouri, left this world on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, following a courageous and hard-fought battle with ovarian cancer. For those who loved her, her passing came far too fast and far too soon.
Angela was born to Donald Yates and Martha Jane Fagan Yates on February 4, 1974, in Springfield, Missouri.
She shared a beautiful life with her husband, Tim Ward. She was the loving mother of one daughter, Felicia White, and two stepsons, Levi Ward and Cody Redman.
Beloved by her family, Angela was a devoted mother to her children and, later, a proud and loving grandmother to her grandchildren. Nothing brought her more joy than caring for her family. To her daughter, she was the person she called whenever anything happened, big or small, her favorite shopping partner, and her friend.
Angela always made time for those she loved most. She was always there, looking on with a smile, offering words of encouragement and the love only a devoted grandmother could give whenever there was an important event in her grandchildren’s lives.
To her friends, Angela was an amazing woman who was always up for anything with a smile on her face. She loved spending time with the people she cared about, friends and family alike. Her passing leaves an empty space that will be felt for generations.
Angela is survived by her husband, Tim; her brother, Donald, and his wife, Marie; her father, Donald; her daughter, Felicia, and her fiancé, Shawn Durden; her grandchildren: Skye Durden, Hunter Durden, Emma Durden, Janeann Dur-den, Fisher Durden, Xander Redman, and Hunter Redman; one great-grandson, Tallyn Winkler; and her aunts, Kenna Neese, Sue Durden, Lucinda Collins, and Cherri Allen.
Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Martha, and her aunt, Kathy Hensley.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026, 1-4 p.m. at Hulston Mill Park, Everton, Missouri.
A healthy Dade County requires great community news.
