Kinsley Long

Kinsley Renee Long, of Greenfield, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 18.
She was born on January 16, 2008 in New Braunfels, Texas, to Christopher and Christine (Galloway) Long. Kinsley was in her senior year at Greenfield High School.
She was a strong, bold young woman who loved spending time with her friends and family. Kinsley had a special love for flowers and music and brought warmth and light to those around her. She had plans for a future in Kansas City with her beloved friend, Alex and hoped to attend college at MCC–Maple Woods.
Kinsley is survived by her parents, Christopher and Christine Long; her brother, Ricky Long; her paternal grandparents, Rubynelle and Hilroy Kennedy; her maternal grandparents, Tammy Neuman and Don and Tammy Galloway; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, classmates, and a community who loved her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Richard Long; her maternal grandfather, Sam Arbuckle; and her cousin, Tyler Boyd.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed, finding peace in the promise that “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God” — Matthew 5:8
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Main Street Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Main Street Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family and please make checks payable to her mother, Christine Long.
