Carolyn Meier

Carolyn Jean Meier, age 91, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 4:46 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at home. She was born July 21, 1934, in Greene County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Laverna and Della (Sullivan) Meier.

Carolyn was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. She was a babysitter and a member of the Family of Christ Church in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.

Carolyn is survived by her friend / caregiver, Jeanne Hart of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, and her church family and friends.

A visitation under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon was held from 12 - 1 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Family of Christ Church in Mt. Vernon, with a funeral service following at 1 p.m. at the church. Burial followed at the Ash Grove Cemetery in Ash Grove, Missouri.
