Sandra Frieze

Sandra Lee “Sandy” Frieze, of Cape Fair, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in her home at the age of 73.
She was born on November 20, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Lloyd Alvin and Marian Virginia (Rae) Rice.  Sandy graduated from Bolivar High School in 1970, and received her Bachelors Degrees in 1974 from Southwest Baptist University.  
She was united in marriage to Richard Denton “Rick” Frieze on June 6, 1974 in Lampe, Missouri.  
Sandy retired as an educator.  She enjoyed soaking up the sun and swimming.  Sandy loved spending time with family and always looked forward to holidays.  She never met a stranger and lit up the room with her smile.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Lloyd and Marian Rice, who she greatly admired.
Survivors include her husband, Rick Frieze; two daughters: Kristi Andrews and husband, Matthew; and Yvette Medley and husband, Jeremy; seven grandchildren: Jennifer, Isabella, Hunter, Robert, Richard, Quinn, and Aria; two great-grandchildren, Alabama and Tobias; five siblings: Dennis Weaver, Linda Williamson, Bill Rice, Paula Davis, and Donna Cole; and many loved nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Daughtrey Cemetery.  
The family received friends on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Greenfield Funeral Chapel.  
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Daughtrey Cemetery.
