Thomas Wilkins

Thomas Lee “Tom” Wilkins, 76, of Everton, Missouri, stepped from this life into the peace and joy of Heaven Friday, September 12, 2025, at his home near Greenfield. Tom Wilkins, son of Calvin and Jaunita Wilkins, was born June 18, 1949.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; one son, Jeff Wilkins and wife, Tricia; two daughters: Shelly Asher and husband, James and Kristi Ball and husband, Kenneth; and one sister, Pat Killingsworth. He and Ruth were blessed with six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. 

Tom and Ruth devoted 58 years building memories together on their farm with dairy and beef cattle, and later with a greenhouse and floral shop. He spent several years working with the community at S&H Farm Supply. The friendships there throughout the years were cherished memories. 

Their love of God and farming is passed down to their children and grandchildren. Tom especially enjoyed spending time with all of them.

A gallant knight, in sunshine and in shadow, had journeyed long - singing a song, in search….Ride, boldly ride.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Greenfield Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Liberty Cemetery.  The family received friends on Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.  

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
