Diana Stehlik

August 27, 2025

Diana Kaye Stehlik, 68, of Walnut Grove, Missouri, left this earth to be with her Savior on Thursday, August 21, 2025.  She was born February 3, 1957, in Newton, Kansas, to Bedonna Hall.
She grew up in Blue Eye, Missouri and spent much of her formative years with her grandparents. As she got older, she spent time building relationships with friends and working with her grandparents pumping gas and cleaning rooms starting at the young age of 14. She learned to water ski competitively and even played softball well into adulthood.
Diana never shied away from having fun. She could be found playing kickball with her kids and their friends or at the lake having a simple cookout with family any time she could. Though she knew how to have fun, she also knew how to work hard and care for her family. She worked a variety of jobs from waiting tables to technical work to owning her own store for several years to provide for her family.
In May of 2000, she married the love of her life. They spent 22 years making memories along with their children and eventually grandchildren.
Diana was a faithful member of the Walnut Grove First Baptist Church. She was active in several ministries including The Caring Place (food pantry ministry), Quilts of Valor, and Operation Christmas Child.
Diana enjoyed gardening throughout her life. She loved being crafty and even got to teach her kids and some of her grandkids how to cook, can food, sew, do needlework and even crochet.  She was a woman of many talents and she loved to share.
Diana is survived by her children: Sean Gatewood and wife, Terica; Casey Garcia and husband, Julian; stepchildren, Dustin Stehlik and wife, Taylor; Jessica Jarman and husband, Tom;, Rebecca Medlin and husband, Ben; grandchildren: Kennedy, Koen, Bri, Caedence, Millie, Ben Jr., Grayce, Maddalyn, Ean, Emma, Aspyn; siblings, James Winberry, Brenda Honeycutt, Jerry Winberry; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
