Alecia Robinson Named Administrator for Ash Grove Healthcare Facility

Alecia Robinson, licensed nursing home administrator (LNHA), has been named the new administrator of Ash Grove Healthcare Facility.

 Robinson has worked in health care for more than 27 years, including 11 years as a long-term care administrator. She will begin working at Ash Grove Healthcare Facility, a Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation facility, on May 12. She will train with the current administrator, Joshua Solomon, to help with the transition. Solomon is leaving the role to go back to school to become a nurse.

 Robinson previously worked for Americare and served as the administrator for several of their senior living communities in Springfield, including Lakewood Assisted Living, The Arbors at Lakewood, Ravenwood Senior Living and The Arbors at Ravenwood. She also has leadership experience in hospice care.

 She earned a Bachelor of Science in journalism and a Bachelor of Science in agribusiness from College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri.

 “Alecia brings a wealth of experience, and we are excited to have her join our team,” said Tim Francka, administrative director of long-term care at Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation. “She is excited to be a health care leader in the community where she was born and raised.”

 Robinson said she is grateful for the opportunity to return to her hometown and serve the community.

 “I’m honored to join the team at Ash Grove Healthcare Facility,” said Robinson. “This is a full-circle moment for me. I was born and raised here, and it means so much to care for the people in this community. I look forward to building on the strong foundation Josh and the team have created.”

 Francka also praised Solomon for his work at the facility.

 “I want to thank Josh Solomon for his leadership through the end of the pandemic and his success in building a strong team,” Francka said. “Thanks to him, the facility no longer relies on agency staffing. We wish him the best as he works to become a nurse and continues providing compassionate care.”

 Robinson will officially take over as administrator on June 9.

 Ash Grove Healthcare Facility is an 82-bed long-term care skilled-nursing facility. It includes a 20-bed memory care unit and offers inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. The facility also features two-bedroom, two-bathroom independent living apartments on the medical campus. Ash Grove Healthcare Facility is owned and operated by Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation in Bolivar.
