Linda Sneed

Linda Kay Sneed, 68 of Willard, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

Linda, the daughter of Floyd and Betty Jean (Bruton) Agee, was born in Springfield, Missouri, on February 19, 1957. On July 7, 2000, Linda and Claude Sneed, Jr., were united in marriage and shared over 25 years together.  

Linda had a deep and abiding love for reading, often finding comfort and inspiration. 

Music was also close to her heart, filling her home and spirit with peace and joy. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, with The Lord’s Prayer and the beloved poem Footprints in the Sand offering her strength and reassurance. She cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, pouring love, wisdom, and warmth into the lives of her children and grandchildren. Above all, Linda loved God with all her heart, living each day with grace, kindness, and an unshakable trust in His presence.

Linda is survived by her husband, Claude Sneed Jr.; children: Terry Hook, Jr. and wife, Holly; Amy Hill and husband, Reggie; Joshua Hook and wife, Shannon; step-children: Jacob Sneed and wife, Dellini; Jean Stewart and husband, Jimmy; Janna Stephens and husband, Wade; Jessica Thompson and husband, Rocky; Jason Sneed and wife, Malia; John Sneed, and wife, Candice; “adopted” son, Eddie Morgan; brother, Mike Agee and wife, Carrie; 28 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; other family and many friends.

Visitation was 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2025, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Funeral services was 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, with burial to follow at Turkey Creek Cemetery, Walnut Grove, Missouri.
