Linda Jones

Linda Lou Jones, 74, of Dittmer, Missouri passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025. Linda was born July 15, 1950 in Lamar, Missouri to Bud and Mary Lou (Ellis) Nieman.

Linda graduated from Lockwood High School and then went on to attend MSU. The majority of her working life was spent with Union Pacific Railroad.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved to read (especially TV Guide), watch movies, travel and follow sports. She also loved going to Las Vegas and faithfully followed the Kansas City Kings. Linda had a soft spot for most animals, especially black cats.

Linda is preceded in death by father, Bud Nieman; mother, Mary Lang; stepmother, Barbara Nieman; stepbrother, Tom Brueggeman; stepson, Clint Jones; and nephew, Garen Sallee. Survivors include her husband, Lowell Jones; sister, Kathy Sallee (Dave); stepson, Jonathan Jones (Kelly); step granddaughters, Riley, Ashley and Merin; niece, Misha; nephews, Shawn, Alex, Luke and Maddox; great-nieces, Cameron, Ryan and Amy; great-nephew, Quincy; and cousins Sue and Jerry.
