Sue Creed

Naomi Sue Creed, 83, of Walnut Grove, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Sue was born in Ash Grove, Missouri, on May 25, 1941, to Jack and Dorothy (Gilmore) Trogdon. On May 25, 1958, Sue and Dean Creed were united in marriage and shared over 47 years together, before Dean’s passing in 2006.

Sue was a lifelong area resident. She was a dedicated farmer’s wife and loving mother. Sue also worked for Litton for over 25 years as a department manager. 

Sue loved her family and spending time with them. She took her love of family and love of crocheting and made blankets for each of her grandbabies. Sue lived her life focused on faith, family, and friends. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Sue is survived by her children: Deana Creed; Cathy Kelley and husband, James; Kevin Creed and wife, Julie; grandchildren: Greg Argo; Brandy Argo; Jaden Argo; Sonya Collins and husband, Brad; Suzanna Evans and husband, Josh; J.D. Kelley and wife, Sabrena; Ashley Clift and husband, Jared; Abby Cooper and J.R. Simpkins; Silas Creed; great-grandchildren: Mya, McKenzie, Levi, Addison, Lane, Ethan, Landon, Alexa, Peyton, Camden, Griffin, Naomi, Kale, Coralee, Kasen, Creed; one great great-grandchild on the way; siblings: Don Trogdon; David Trogdon and wife, Lavonda; Beverly McCroskey; lifelong friends, H.D. and Sally Cribbs; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends. 

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Dorothy Trogdon and husband, Dean Creed. 

Graveside services were 2 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, Missouri.
