Eldon Harrison
March 04, 2025

Eldon W. Harrison Jr., of Lockwood, Missouri, passed peacefully at home with his loved ones by his side on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the age of 72. He fought a long illness and after many years, made the final walk to be with our Lord and Savior.
Eldon was born to Eldon Sr. and Francis Harrison on February 5, 1953. Born and raised in Dade County, he had a passion for hunting, fishing, toy shows, and gun shows. Eldon loved his family and his community. You could always find him enjoying time with his grandkids and looking to see what unique stuff he could find at antique shops wherever he went.
Eldon loved his dogs, especially those beautiful labs. He would argue well with you about how Chevrolet was better than any other make of vehicle and how he’d never drive a Ford.
Eldon was a compassionate man who served his local police and fire departments until the decline in his health.
Eldon is preceded in death by both of his parents; and one daughter-in-law, Sarah Harrison.
Eldon leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Cheryl Harrison; three sons: Jason Harrison and wife, Shawna; Jeff Harrison; and Jeremy Harrison and wife, Courtney; three brothers: Walter Lynn and wife, Karen; Harvey and wife, Sherry; and Wayne and wife, Terri; one sister, Stella and husband, Arly; four grandchildren: Jorden Countryman and husband, Tyler; Walker Harrison and wife, Breauna; Bethany McNeese; and Ryder Harrison; four beautiful great-granddaughters: Kinsley and Alayna Countryman, and Raleigh and Cassie Harrison; and many other extended family and friends.
The family will conduct a Memorial Service at the Lockwood Christian Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Inurnment will follow in Kings Point Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lockwood Fire Department, or to the family and please make checks payable to Jorden Countryman.
