Steven Allen McMillin

Steven Allen “Steve” McMillin, age 70 of Paris,  Tennessee, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at his residence. 

He was born at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida on June 10, 1954 to Nancy Grace (Stapp) McMillin and the late Harold Dean McMillin. 

He grew up in Greenfield, Missouri and attended school there, excelling in athletics in high school. 

After high school he attended Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, graduating with a degree in agronomy. He worked in Kentucky and Missouri for the U.S. Department of Agriculture from which he retired 

Steve loved spending time hunting with his boys. He was an avid pickleball player and loved sports 

Along with his mother, Nancy McMillin who survives of Bolivar, Missouri,  Steve is survived by his two sons, Brian (Shelby) of Paris, Tennessee and Jarrod (Deidra) of Mayfield, Kentucky; one sister, Cheryl (Tony) Bowers of Bolivar, Missouri; and five grandchildren, Steven McMillin, Ivy McMillin, Oliver McMillin, Dean McMillin, and Ellie McMillin.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home,  201 Dunlap Street, Paris, Tennessee, 38242. His remains are to be cremated with no public services scheduled.
