Rose Mary Wilkinson

Rose Mary Wilkinson, age 82, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on September 6, 1942 in Vernon County, Missouri, to the union of Alpheus John and Mary Mildred (Booher) Dull.
Rose was a homemaker her entire life. She had lived most of her life in the Greenfield, Missouri area, but also spent a short time in Arizona.
Rose spent her years attending different churches when she was moving around, but she always had a church so she could play the piano and sing praises to the Lord. Her love of the Lord was evident and she would sing and give praises to Him every chance she got.
Rose married Leroy Stephenson and to this union they had two children, Timothy Stephenson and Penny Stephenson. He preceded her in death. She then married Wayman Wilkinson in Greenfield, Missouri, and he preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, Alpheus and Mary Dull; one son, Timothy Stephenson; and two daughters, Penny Stephenson and Sally Wilkinson.
Survivors include her daughter, Alice Wilkinson of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; three sisters: Betty Brasher of Sheldon, Missouri; Peggy Swaggerty and husband, Lonnie of Stockton, Missouri; and Sharon Shackelford and husband, Mike, of Joplin, Missouri; four grandchildren: Brittany Lee of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; Cindy Rose Sanders of Cassville, Missouri; David Sanders, II, of Nixa, Missouri; and Eric Sanders of Cassville, Missouri; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved her and will miss her dearly.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Greenfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
