Georgia Lee Ferwalt

Georgia Lee Ferwalt was born June 6, 1942, daughter of Samuel Chester Jackson and Vivian (Hickman) Jackson, in Anderson, Missouri. Georgia gained her wings on November 17, 2024 at the age of 82.
Georgia was raised in Kansas City, Missouri, where she met the love of her life, Harry Ferwalt.
After they were married, they moved around because Harry was in the Marine Corp. They eventually settled in Everton, Missouri, where they would raise their three children.
Harry and Georgia owned and operated Razor Sharp Knives service in Bass Pro for 28 years. Georgia loved big in life, and she never met a stranger.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Harry; two infant sons, Stephen Michael and James Joseph; two brothers, Billy Jackson, Jimmy Jackson; one sister Annabelle (Jackson) Curtis; and one grandson, Cody Ferwalt.
Georgia is survived by her two sons: Rick and Shelli Ferwalt; and Tommy and Tessa Ferwalt of Ash Grove, Missouri; one daughter, Julie and Michael Douty of Everton, Missouri; one very special sister-in-law, Cathy Jackson of Everton, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
Georgia loved and adored all of her grandchildren and was proud to know that in 2025 she was going to be welcoming three more great- granddaughters, two great-nieces; and one great-nephew to the family.
Visitation wasfrom 11 a.m. until service time, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services will begin at noon, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Sinking Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Southwest Missouri Humane Society and may be left with the funeral home.
