Tucker Lawrence Berry

Tucker Lawrence Berry, of Lockwood, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the age of 21.
He was born on July 17, 2003 in Joplin, Missouri to Sam and Tonya (Corum) Berry.
Tucker graduated from Lockwood High School in 2021 and graduated with honors, valedictorian and Citizenship Award.
He graduated from Crowder College in 2022 with an Associate of Arts in General Studies with honors, Summa Cum Laude.
Tucker furthered his education graduating from Arizona State University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Sciences in Urban Planning with honors, Summa Cum Laude.
He served with honor and courage as a Career Firefighter/EMT at Redings Mill Fire Protection District, a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT at Lockwood Fire Protection District, and also an EMT and vice president of the Dade County First Responders.
Tucker also was a Lead Investigator at the Law Offices of Allen G. Rose, P.C. and worked for the City of Greenfield as a City Planner.
Tucker had a strong commitment to bettering our community. He was instrumental in the painting of the town murals and served as the president of the Lockwood Park Board.
Tucker was a very hard worker, and always happy to lend a helping hand. His generosity continues by his gift of being an organ donor. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
Preceding him in death were his paternal great-grandparents, Boyd and Lauretta Corum; maternal great-grandparents, Wayne and Mary Gericke; paternal grandfather, James Martin; and paternal great-grandparents, Lawrence and Fernita Berry.
Survivors include his parents, Sam and Tonya Berry of Greenfield, Missouri; maternal grandparents, Bill and Sheila Corum of Sarcoxie, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Linda Martin of Lockwood, Missouri; half-sister, Brittany Price and husband, Brandon, of Sarcoxie, Missouri; three uncles: Aaron Corum and wife, Angela, of Grove, Oklahoma,; Mickey Corum and wife, Wendy, of Sarcoxie, Missouri; and Terry McKinney of Kansas City, Missouri; five nieces and nephews: Trenton Corum, Bailey Corum, Gracie Corum, Delilah Price, and Asher Price; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 26. 2024, at the Lockwood High School Gymnasium.
Burial followed in Lockwood Cemetery.
The family received friends on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Gymnasium.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lockwood Fire Department, Dade County First Responders, or to the Lockwood Park Board.
