Amy Lynn Steeley Mitchell

Amy Lynn Steeley Mitchell, 48 of Holt Summit, passed away, Friday, June 28, 2024. She was born on February 14, 1976, in Springfield, Missouri, to Terry Lynn Steeley and Debra Jean Manuel.

Amy was never without a cup of coffee and loved thunderstorms. She was a wonderful cook and could make anything and the favorite was her creamy potato, bacon, cheddar soup. Amy loved her family and spending time with them. She will be greatly missed.

Amy is survived by her husband, Alex Mitchell; children, Cody Lutz, Alex Mitchell, Chism Mitchell, Kyliee Mitchell; grandson, Kaden Lutz; parents, Terry and Betty Steeley, Debbie Norcross; siblings, Grant Cameron, Russell Cameron (Christal), Amanda Lafon (Dustin), Stephanie Anderson (Luke), Jacob Norcross; grandmother, Marlys Manuel; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Amy was preceded in death by her dad, Mark Norcross; brother, Jeff Norcross; sister, Sara Steeley; grandparents, Elbert Lee Manuel, Sanford and Patsy “Joby” Steeley.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
