Linda Lee Mallory
Linda Lee Mallory, 85, of Everton, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024. Linda was born February 28, 1938, to Albert and Bernice (Simmons) Coble in Everton, Missouri.
On July 21, 1972, Linda and Kenneth Mallory were united in marriage and shared 42 years together before Kenneth’s passing in 2014.
Linda was a lifelong area resident. She began her career at Everton School District before graduating high school, even signing her own diploma. She went on to Draughon’s Business College and then back to Everton School District where she retired after 46 years. She was the secretary for the superintendent and school board, along with bookkeeping.
Linda was a member of Everton First Baptist Church and a member of Jolly Homemakers Club. She was an avid republican. Linda enjoyed country music and going to concerts in Branson. She also enjoyed Cardinal baseball. Linda will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Sheila Farnham; grandchildren: Christina Kroutil and husband, John; Leah Dowdy; Seth Newcomer and wife, Kristina; Whitney Ash; Alayna Newcomer and husband, Mike; great grandchildren: Wyatt Hicks, Makayla Dowdy, Sophia Hicks, Greyson Bernas, Ryder Bernas, Charlotte Dowdy; brother-in-law, Don Myers; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Bernice Coble; husband, Kenneth Mallory; daughters, Darla Ash, Carla Parnell; son-in-law, Rick Farnham; siblings: Dorothy O’Kelly, Maxine Myers, and Gordon Coble; and sister-in-law, Lois Edwards.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Greene Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Victory Mission and may be left with the funeral home.
