Siegle Wayne Stapp

April 17, 2023

Siegle Wayne Stapp, of Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Sunday, April 9, 2023, in his home at the age of 68. He was born in Lockwood, MO to Oletha and Siegle Stapp on September 18, 1954.

Wayne joined the Air Force at the age of 17 and served a four-year term. After serving in the Air Force, Wayne started working at Ample Industries in Nixa, MO. He retired from there after 44 years.
Wayne married the love of his life, Regina, on October 25, 1972. They just celebrated 50 years of marriage. Wayne and Regina built a beautiful life with a treasured family. They were blessed with two sons, Steven and Parker. Wayne valued and loved his sons unconditionally and was always making time to build cherished memories, including being at every sporting event or going hunting or fishing.

One of the biggest highlights of Wayne's life was his grandchildren. He loved every single one of them more than life itself. The way he showed love unconditionally to all of them was profound. He was always spotted in the stands at ball games and never missed a prom. He was a huge support system to each one of them and made sure he was always available to drive them wherever they needed to be.

Wayne knew no strangers. He loved everyone he met and always took the time to visit with whomever would listen. He never passed judgement and no one's past mattered. Imagine how great the world would be if it were filled with Wayne Stapps. His heart filled the room with love and laughter, which will be missed the most by his family.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Siegle; his sister, Gayla; and his beloved dog, Maggie. His surviving family includes his mother, Oletha; his sister, Linda; the love of his life, Regina; his son, Steven (Crystal); his son, Parker (Shawna); all of his grandchildren: Draven (Autumn), Harley, Reagan (Gabe), Riley, Izabella, Jonathan, Piper, Jace, Marissa, Ellie and Stevie as well as Ashley Beckley, Colton Beckley and Sommer Stapp; and we can't leave out his most beloved four legged friend, Charlie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Wayne's legacy was showing everyone how much love was possible in this world. Always show forgiveness and never give up on anyone. Love like it's your last day and always show kindness, and most importantly love as hard as you possibly can.

Funeral services were held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Greenfield Funeral Chapel. The family received friends on Friday at 3:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral chapel.
