Jerry Lee Ayers nee McMasters
Jerry Lee Ayers nee McMasters, age 91, of St. Louis, Missouri entered into peaceful rest on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 of natural causes. Jerry Lee was born on June 3rd, 1931, to Lee Isaac McMasters and Eunice Audrey McMasters (Carmack) in Dade County, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved brother Teddy Max McMasters, loving husband Robert Jack Ayers and all three of her children, Kevin Wesley Ayers, Lee Ann Ayers, and Richard Robert Ayers, nephew Randy McMasters and loved great niece Audrey E. McMasters . Jerry Lee married her soul mate, confidante and kindred spirit Robert Jack Ayers on September 7th, 1949 in Greenfield, Missouri.
Known for her joie de vivre and extraordinarily quick wit, Jerry Lee sought out moments of delight and humor. She cared deeply about that which mattered most to her with ever present cleverness, valor, authenticity and voracious love. Jerry Lee was known for an outer beauty that many naturally gravitated towards, but an inner beauty that captivated all. Despite numerous occasions of great loss, Jerry cherished the love of the Lord and her family infinitely.
Jerry Lee is survived by her granddaughter Rachael Lee Ayers (Stephenie) Rudanovich, great-grandson Benjamin Jacob Jackson, nephew Clayton (Shelly) McMasters and niece Cheryl (Steve) Duncan.
