Donald David Cain

Donald David Cain, age 75, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 8:35 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at his home. He was born September 19, 1947, in McPherson, Kansas, the son of Loyd and Irene (Stroble) Cain.

Donald was a 1965 graduate of Lindsborg High School in Lindsborg, Kansas. He was the owner/operator of Cains Rapid Rooter in Mt. Vernon and was of the Baptist faith.

On December 25, 1964, he married Shirley Marie Pennington, in McPherson, Kansas. She preceded him in death on February 24, 2022.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Judy Englehupt, of Concord, North Carolina; two sons, Donald David Cain II and his wife, Loutricia, of China Grove, North Carolina and Lloyd Cain and his wife, Crissie, of Kannapolis, North Carolina; one brother, Jimmy Cain and his wife, Diana, of Columbia, Missouri; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
