Cindy Kay Sterling

Cindy Kay Sterling, age 47, of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 6:59 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022, at her home. She was born September 25,1975, in St. George, Utah, the daughter of Dave and Carol (Sherman) Ross.

Cindy was a 1993 graduate of Verona High School in Verona, Missouri. Cindy was a Human Resources Manager for Damar and a member of the Reavisville Baptist Church, Missouri.

On October 6, 2007, she married William Sterling in Reavisville, Missouri.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 15 years, William; three daughters, Chelsea Taylor and her husband, Isaac, of Miller, Missouri, Caylee Smith and her husband, Forrest, of Springfield, Missouri, and Ashton Sterling of Springfield, Missouri; one son, Ryan Black of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; six grandchildren, Ethan, Stetson, Creed, Mylo, Lennon and Bowie; one sister, Pam Merritt and her husband, Louie, of Marionville, Missouri; four brothers, Tom Ross and his wife, Tonya, of Marionville, Roy Ross of Charleston, Missouri, James Maxwell of Salina, Kansas and David Maxwell of Aurora, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Carol, and sister, Christine Ross.

No services are planned at this time. Burial will be held at a later date at Mars Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon.
