Dalton Junior Horton

Dalton Junior Horton, age 16, of Jasper, Missouri passed away November 10, 2022.

Dalton was born February 10, 2006 in Springfield, Missouri to Larry Wayne Horton and Jenna Nicole Rusch.

Dalton was currently a sophomore at Jasper High School in Jasper, MO., and was a member of FFA. Before attending Jasper High School, he attended Golden City Schools, where he was also a member of the FFA, FCCLA, student council and basketball team, while also playing football for Lockwood. Dalton loved riding dirt bikes and deer hunting.

Survivors include his parents, Larry Horton of Golden City and Jenna Rusch of Jasper; two brothers, Chester Horton and Cutter Horton, both of Jasper; Grandparents, Karen (Joe) Graf of Aldridge, Missouri, Randy (Cheryl) Rusch of Greenfield, Missouri and Velma Horton of Golden City, MO.; great-grandparents, Johnnie (Joyce) Neale of Jerico Springs, Missouri; his girlfriend, Maddi Bryant, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Dalton was preceded in death by his grandpa, Larry Chester Horton and cousin, Adriaunna Horton.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2022 at Golden City High School in Golden City, MO., with burial to follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Golden City, MO.

The family received friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar, MO.
