Halle Marie Baker
Halle Marie Baker, age 1, departed this life on earth to live eternity in heaven on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
She was born in Springfield, Missouri, on May 17, 2021 to Chelsey Martin and Stormy Baker with big brother, Bodhi Baker, awaiting her arrival.
There wasn’t a place she went where her big blue eyes didn’t light up the room. She danced her little heart out like no one was watching. It didn’t matter where she was, if there was a tune you bet she’d be dancing. Halle-girl was the rooster of the household. Her big blue eyes and beautiful big smile with her four little teeth would wake everyone up in the mornings and you better believe daddy was the first to come greet her.
When that backdoor opened at night, her face would light up like no other and she’d scream “Daddy” and reach for him every time. Her favorite things were momma rocking her and tickling her little back and arms, pestering big brother while they played, and pushing her dolls or anything in her stroller.
She enjoyed watching Snow Buddies and Charlottes Web, and eating bananas and SNACKS! Halle was Bodhi’s best friend in this world. She soaked in every move Bodhi made.
Halle was her daddy’s girl and her momma’s world. She was such a bright light in this dark world.
Waiting for her at the Golden Gates were her great-grandmothers, Connie Daniel and Barbara Baker; great-grandfather, Buster Hargis; great-great-grandparents, Elizabeth and Lyle Daniel; cousin, Shade White; great-great-grandma, Cora Myers; great-great-grandparents, Clarence and Sue Jones; great-grandpas, Mike Smith and James Martin; and Tracy Hargis.
Halle will be waiting in heaven for Mommy and Daddy; big brother, Bodhi; Mimi Conita and Papa Mikey; Aunt Lizzy Davison; Granny Carmen and Papa Rick; uncles, Colt Hawkins, Trevor Hawkins and Logan Baker; great-grandma, Patsy Hargis; great-grandpas, Bernard Daniel and PaPa Baker; and lots and lots of other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022, in Main Street Baptist Church in Greenfield. Burial followed in Pennsboro Cemetery. The family received friends on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. and also Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. until service time in Main Street Baptist.
