Frances Lawrene “Renie” Jones

Frances Lawrene “Renie” Jones, 78, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Good Shepherd Community Care and Rehabilitation Facility in Lockwood, Missouri.  She was born on January 15, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Frances is survived by her son, Darin Jones and son-in-law Kevin Tillman of Dallas, Texas; grandson, Dale Lee Jones, Jr. and great-grandsons, Logan and Wade Jones of Kansas City, Missouri. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Irving (Frank) of Lockwood, Missouri; brothers, Mike Huser (Nina) of Richmond, Kentucky; Joe Huser (Donna) of Snelleville, Georgia; and  Jack Huser (Myra) of Springfield, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Noma Huser; and two sons, Danny Jones and Dale Lee Jones.

She worked at Solo Cup Company in Grandview, Missouri, for nearly 30 years and was also a long time employee of Foxwood Springs Senor Living in Raymore, Missouri. Frances retired in 2017.

She loved spending time with her family, collecting owls, playing cards, and cheering on the KC Chiefs.

Frances was also a 25+ year breast cancer survivor. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.

 A Celebration of Life Service was held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022, at the Lockwood United Methodist Church, 410 N. Main St, Lockwood, MO 65682.  A visitation was held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. until service time at the church.  Online condolences may be shared at www.greenfieldfuneralchapel.com.  Services were under the care of Lockwood Funeral Chapel.
