Jody Wayne Miles

Jody Wayne Miles, age 65, of Lockwood, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021.

Jody was born March 2, 1956 in Lamar, Missouri to Louie Joyce Miles and Wanda June (Higgins) Miles. Jody graduated from Lockwood High School in the class of 1974.

Jody worked as a Scale House Operator for Pennington Seed for 31 years. He will be missed by many close friends and co-workers.

Survivors include his mother, June Miles; two sisters: Judy Miles Easson and husband, Andrew and Joy Miles; his fiance, Tracey Sommer; nephews: Josh (Annie) Weimer, Jarid (Jen) Weimer, Brandon Easson, Jordan (Elena) Easson and Jacob (Kari) Easson; and great nieces and nephews: Morgan, Rylie, Sydnie, Dylan, Chloe, Henry, Blair and Zoe.

Preceding Jody in death were his father and nephew, Chance H. Kentner.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, August 27, 2021, at Greenfield Cemetery of Jerico Springs, Missouri.

The family received friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the funeral home.
