Tyler Derek Boyd

Tyler Derek Boyd, of Greenfield, Missouri, departed this life surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 26.
He was born on October 28, 1994 to Dan Boyd and Karan Davis. Tyler grew up in Greenfield, Missouri and graduated from Greenfield High School in 2013. After high school he attended Missouri Welding Institute where he received a certification in welding.

Tyler was united in marriage to his junior high sweetheart, Kameron Taylor Davis on June 19, 2015. Tyler was a member of The Hill church in Ash Grove, Missouri. Tyler loved his church and his church family with his whole heart.
Tyler and Kameron especially enjoyed being involved with The Mercy Tree ministry and working with the kids. Tyler’s smile was infectious and it would bring love and joy to everyone around. A quote from one of Tyler’s favorite songs he sang at church was,
“Good God almighty

I hope You’ll find me

Praising Your name no matter what comes

‘Cause I know where I’d be without Your mercy

So I keep Praising Your name at the top of my lungs.” – Crowder

Preceding him in death were his unborn child, “Baby August”; grandparents Marvin and Bonnie Boyd; his grandfather Jack Taylor; and uncle, Marvin Boyd Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Kameron, son Ryker and unborn daughter Charleigh of Greenfield, Missouri; mother and stepfather, Mike and Karan Davis of South Greenfield, Missouri; father, Dan Boyd of Marionville, Missouri; brother, Chris Boyd (Megon) and their three children of Ash Grove, Missouri; brother, Josh Boyd (Chantel) and their three children of Marionville; sister, Jennifer Boyd and fiancé, Tye Coble of Everton, Missouri; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Main Street Baptist Church. Burial followed in Greenfield Cemetery. Visitation was held on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Main Street Baptist Church.
