Doris Aileen (Moenning) Belcher

Doris Aileen (Moenning) Belcher, of Lockwood, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, July 10, 2021, in her home at the age of 81.

She was born on April 15, 1940 in Lockwood, Missouri, to Alfred and Faye Moenning. Doris attended Lockwood School, graduating in 1958.

She was united in marriage to Richard Belcher on September 15, 1962 in Lockwood, Missouri. Doris and Richard lived together on their family farm for 59 years.

She was a wonderful wife and mother, working hard on the family’s farm, running the family trucking company, working at the cap factory, and raising their children. Doris enjoyed gardening and baking. She never missed any of her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Doris was a longtime member of the Lockwood United Methodist Church, and enjoyed helping her church family hosting funeral dinners and several other activities.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Alfred and Faye Moenning; and three brothers, Kenneth Moenning, Clarence Moenning, and Hershel Moenning.

Survivors include her children: Elizabeth Easson and husband, Edward; Randy Belcher and wife, Ruth; Junior Moenning and wife, Alisha; David Moenning and wife, Becky; and Bobby Berlekamp and wife, Angela; her grandchildren: Kate and Kyle Rowan, Garrett Easson, Wyatt and Kenzie Easson, Brady and Lachelle Spain, Taylor Belcher, Lawson Hill, Brookee Cottingham, T.J. James, Tim and Jessica Cottingham, Melissa and Josh Maxwell, Katie and Andrew Splechter, Gregg Cottingham, Serenity Rolland, Aaron and Tia Moenning, Payton Moenning, Jaden Moenning, Rajen and Joanne Moenning, and Nevada and Tavin Shriver; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021, in the Lockwood United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Lockwood Cemetery.
