Carolyn Sue White

July 24, 2020

Carolyn Sue White, known as “Kay” to so many, age 79 of Greenfield, Missouri, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 23, 2020. She passed away in her home after a short battle with cancer.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Clifford and Eula (Jones) Bishop; her daughter, Bonnie Judd Wolford; two brothers, Bob Bishop and Charlie Bishop; and one sister, Barbara Gladden. Carolyn leaves behind four siblings, Cordia-Belle, Leona, Judy, and Donnie all from Dade County.

She was born on March 2, 1941 to Clifford and Eula Gwen (Jones) Bishop in Pennsboro, Missouri. Carolyn graduated from Everton High School. She attended Antioch Christian Church all of her life. Just shy of 53 years ago on August 16, she married Bobby Allen White at the Dade County Courthouse. Together they have four children, Billy, Dedra, Bonnie, and Robert; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Carolyn enjoyed any kind of adventure in her lifetime. She was an avid outdoorswoman. Carolyn liked to fish and driving through Missouri State Parks to enjoy the scenery and count the number of deer she saw. She enjoyed playing cards, doing word search books, and visiting with many friends and family. Above all, she enjoyed going to church and seeing her kids and grandkids attend church with her.

From Bob and Carolyn’s family, thank you to all of the home health nurses and friends that helped in these trying months.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2020 in Antioch Cemetery. Friends and family were welcome to view and pay their respects on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
