Betty Lou Ringgenberg
Betty Lou (Hall) Ringgenberg, 76 of Everton, passed away March 8, 2020 at the Ash Grove HealthCare Facility.
Betty was born to Raymond and Mamie Hall near Greenfield, MO. She and her twin sister Peggy Sue arrived on July 26, 1943.
She attended first grade in South Greenfield School. The family moved to Everton and she graduated from Everton High School Class of 1961.
Betty and Richard Wayne Ringgenberg were married February 22, 1963 in her parent's home. The first few weeks were spent in Minneapolis, MN .where Wayne was with the United States Army Reserve. After his service they returned to Springfield where they both worked. They opened a business in Everton Wayne's Garage, later known as Wayne s Automotive.
She accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age. She was baptized and joined the Everton Baptist Church. She dedicated her live to mission work. She cared for her parents and Wayne s mother along with many others who needed her help. Her mission work included becoming Woman's Missionary Director of her church as well as Dade County Association Women's Missionary Director. She loved teaching children's Sunday School and Vacation Bible School
Betty was a charter member of the Dade County Federated Republican Women, member to the Heart of the Ozarks Chapter of the Model T Ford Club and Flatland Model T Club in Wichita, KN.
Betty said all she did in life was thanks to God and Wayne's support.
She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Mamie (Underwood) Hall, grandparents Ambrose and Fla (Russell) Hall and Cannie and Nora (Burncy) Underwood, infant brother Raymond Duane Hall, Sister Janice Ann Jones, brothers Garry Hall and Darrell Hall, sister-in-law Louretta (Cox) Hall and brother-in-law Billy Jack Douty.
Betty is survived by her husband and best friend for 57 years Richard Wayne of the home, sisters Carol Kind and husband Richard of Buffalo and twin sister Peggy Sue Douty of Ash Grove, sister-in-law Mary Hall of Fair Grove and brother-in-law Billy Jones of Everton. Many nephews, nieces and host of friends.
Graveside services where held Thursday March 12,2020 at 1:00 p.m. in Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton, with Rev, Dwight Steeley officiating under direction of Birch Funeral Home of Ash Grove
