Dwayne Alan Coffey

Dwayne Alan Coffey, 44, died September 14, 2015, in Juneau, Alaska.

Dwayne was born May 14, 1971, at Eglin AFB, Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. He was the son of Darrell and Patricia Coffey, Kansas City, Missouri.

In addition to his parents, Dwayne is survived by his daughters, Ashley Coffey of Pinckney, Michigan and Christina Coffey of Ludowici, Georgia; brother, Kevin Coffey of Kansas City, Missouri; one niece, Brittany Coffey of Kansas City; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. All of whom played an important part in his life.

Dwayne is a graduate of Willard High School, Willard, Missouri.

He entered the Army after graduation and retired after 20 years of service.

He earned an Iraq campaign Medal with two Stars, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Medal, USA/USAF Pres Unit Citation, & Valorous Unit Award.

After retirement from the Army, Dwayne moved to Alaska and started a new career as shop foreman with the Holland America-Princess cruise line in Juneau. He loved his job and his passion was fishing.

A memorial service will be held at the Pennsboro Church, South Greenfield, Missouri, on Saturday October 3rd at 1:30 p.m.
