Trump to Visit Springfield Sept. 21

September 15, 2018

President Donald Trump's 2020 re-election campaign has announced that the president will visit the Springfield area for a “Make America Great Again” rally on Friday, Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at JQH Arena on the campus of Missouri State University. Doors open at 4 p.m. for general admission. Register for admission at https://www.donaldjtrump.com/rallies/missouri-sept-2018.

This will be President Trump's third rally in Missouri and the first campaign rally in Springfield since June of 2015. He also made a presidential visit to Springfield on Aug. 30, 2017 for his signature tax reform bill.

"We realize this will delight some members of our community and offend others. The university encourages everyone to be respectful regardless of their views,” say Missouri State University leaders.

The event is a campaign rally for Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley, a U.S. Senate candidate running for a seat that is currently held by Claire McCaskill.
