    This photo  is of Jim, Frank and Jerry (yeah, Frank that Greenfield Science Teacher y’all  know.) Johnson.  We are standing on grandpa’s gold mine’s waste pile on Standard Hill, just south of Mojave California. Soledad Mountain and the Queens Mine are in the background.  This is about 80 miles due north of Las Angles.  Taken in 1957.
