James Edward Pede, Sr.

Family and friends are saddened by the loss of James Edward Pede, Sr. who departed this world on December 28, 2022. He was born May 9, 1933, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Jim was the eldest child of Ed and Hannah Pede.

His final years were at Ozarks Methodist Manor. The family wishes all to know of their gratitude for the care and compassion that he received there and to thank all who served through these recent difficult times.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Per Jim’s wishes he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife of 67 years, Genevieve who proceeded him in death on October 22, 2022. His final resting place will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral in Aurora, Missouri.
