Viola Lois Crisamore

Viola Lois Crisamore, age 86, of Lockwood, Missouri, passed away at 8:36 a.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. She was born March 13, 1935, in Webster County, Missouri, the daughter of Doyle and Roxie (Dudley) Letterman.

Viola worked for Litton Industries in Springfield, Missouri and was a member of the Lockwood United Methodist Church.

On June 6, 1953, she married Donald Ray Crisamore in Decatur, Indiana. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1996.

Viola is survived by her son, Tony Crisamore and his wife, Angela, of Lockwood; six grandchildren: Elishia Logan and her husband, Daniel, of Republic, Missouri; Brian Wiseman and his wife, Acacia, and Madison Wiseman, all of Oregon; Emily Crisamore of Louisiana; Adam and Tiffany Crisamore, both of Miller; one great-granddaughter, Lilly Wright of Ohio; two brothers, Jimmy Letterman and his wife, Nila, of Greenfield, Missouri; and L.D. Letterman and his wife, Jewel of Aurora, Missouri; one sister, Betty Fear, and one sister-in-law, Clara Conrad both of Springfield, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Viola was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Roxie; her husband, Donald; one brother, Dean Letterman; one sister, Anna Price and her husband, Otis; and one brother-in-law, Carl Fear.

A funeral service, under the direction of the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, in Miller, Missouri, was held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at the Round Grove Baptist Church. Burial followed at the Round Grove Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2021, at the Round Grove Baptist Church.
