Emma Marie (Kreissler) Cassity

November 13, 2020

Emma Marie (Kreissler) Cassity, of Lockwood, Missouri, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at the age of 92. She was born on September 8, 1928, in Rockville, Missouri, to George and Julia Elsie Siegismund.
Emma filled her life with family and faith. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lockwood, Missouri, and enjoyed her place in the choir, as a Sunday service greeter, and as a member of Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Emma had a gift for bringing people together wherever she was. She showered her children and grandchildren with birthday celebrations, Christmas and Easter traditions, and any excuse to have a meal together. Her coworkers and customers at S&H Farm Supply served as her extended family and were a blessing to her for over 40 years. She shared her enthusiasm and joy with these families and many others through conversation and cooking, filling lives with her famous bread, bustling energy, long johns, and reminders to “Say your prayers”.

Emma is lovingly remembered by her children: Wanda Jones, Paula Kreissler, Toni Kreissler, Tim (Lorraine) Kreissler, Jonathan Kreissler, and Jackie (Chuck) Carrier; daughter-in-law, Dixie Kreissler; grandchildren: Bradley (Charity) Jones, Leslie (Ryan) Brunner, Kimberly (Adam) Stueve, Reuben (Rayna) Kreissler, Seth (Emily) Kreissler, Willie (Chelsie) Carrier, Isaac (Katie) Carrier, and Toni (Kevin) Riley; and several great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by husband, Gene Cassity; son, Wayne Kreissler; son-in-law, Allen Jones; and siblings: Aaron Seigismund, Andrew Siegismund, Sara Hearting, Dorthy Heiserman, and Georgia Williams.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, in Lockwood Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to view and pay their respects on Wednesday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. in Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
