Kenneth Weber Russell, Jr.

Kenneth Weber Russell Jr., of Greenfield, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in the Parkview Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri, at the age of 86.

He was born on October 6, 1934 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky to Kenneth Weber and Marcella (Jones) Russell. Kenneth graduated from Catlettsburg High School.

He was united in marriage to Helen Lee Brown on December 31, 1953 in Ashland, Kentucky and they shared 66 years together. Kenneth owned and operated Russell’s True Value and Russell’s Variety stores. He was a member of the Greenfield United Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Kenneth and Marcella Russell; one son, Kenneth Weber Russell, III; and one sister, Nelly Stewart.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Russell; one son, Robert Russell; two daughters, Lee Ellen Lewis and Donna Faye Pelfrey; two sisters, Betsy Hicks and Faye Cox; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held by Neal Funeral Home in Catlettsburg, Kentucky with burial in Tyn Rhos Cemetery in Rio Grande, Ohio.
