KC Obsolete Parts is located in this old general store building in Phelps, along State Highway 96 southwest of Miller. KC Obsolete owners Reggi and Leslie Carpenter aren’t completely sure about the age of the building, but know that it was occupied by the local postmaster as early as 1859. The building is considered to the oldest in the community. (Photo by James McNary)
