Aldora I. Gass

Aldora I. Gass, of Greenfield, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, April 9, 2015, in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Lockwood, Missouri, at the age of 93 years.

She was born on November 18, 1921, in Greenfield, Missouri, to Vance and Lora (Pyle) Dickerson. Aldora graduated from Greenfield High School.

She was united in marriage to Truman Gass on October 11, 1941, in Lamar, Missouri. Aldora was a wonderful homemaker. She was a member of the Greenfield First Christian Church, Dade County Republican Womens Club, and the Greenfield Garden Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Vance and Lora Dickerson; and her husband, Truman Gass.

Survivors include her daughter, Kay Johnson and her husband, John, of Yukon, Oklahoma; her sister, Maida Loehrke, of Bismarck, North Dakota; her grandchild, Jessica Erin Rice; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family would like to say thank you to Charles Gass, Ruby Watson, Kathryn Elder, Good Shepherd Nursing Home, and Mercy Hospital for their special care and concern during Aldora declining health.

Memorial services were held on Monday, April 13, 2015, in the Greenfield First Christian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
